Sing to Me, O Jehovah!

"For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will give you victory. He will rejoice over you with great gladness; He will love you and not accuse you. Is that a joyous choir I hear? No, it is the Lord Himself exulting over you in happy song." Zephaniah 3:17-18 (TLB)

Every day, most believers praise God in prayer or in song. It is something that should flow naturally out of our love and gratitude to our Savior, who has ransomed our souls. He has grabbed our hand as we slid down the hill towards the pit of Hell, pulled us back onto the solid ground, and washed us in His blood.

But did you know that the Father spends time praising us? That's right, the Lord of all creation rejoice over us with great gladness. When we live to please Him, He sings a happy song exulting over us. When we honor Him through our lives and deeds, He praises us to the angels in Heaven. So let us live to please Him, walking in the light of His warm love and crying out "Sing to me, O Jehovah!"
