That Which Remains

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love". 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)
Every man or woman that lives changes this world, for good or for ill, by the life they live. Every one of us touches other, in an infinite number of ways. Each decision we make has implications we can not fully comprehend. But besides the reward of Heaven for the believers, the glory of living in the warm light of our Messiah for all eternity, the crowns we will wear, what remains when our earthly life is over and our eternal life begins?
What will remain after your time on earth is done and you have shuffled off that mortal coil? Will you leave things better than you found them? Will people remember you for the kindness you showed, the love you gave, and the children you raised? Will they remember you for the warm hugs, and all the hands you held? The Faith you lived out? The Hope you always had in your heart? Will they remember the Love you gave and received? At the end of this life, those will be the things that which remain. Faith, Hope, and Love, and the greatest of these is love.
