Undercover Christians Part II

“Undercover Christian’ s” have sat quietly as our kids fill their minds full of anti-authority, violent, and sexual sewage, because “we didn’t want to rock the boat .”Well, Jesus’ whole ministry was “all about rocking the boat.” He challenged the culture of his time, eating and hanging out with tax collectors and other sinners. He pointed out the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. And He “turned the boat over” when He drove the money changers away from His Father’s house.
The media stands ready to mock any Christian who dares challenge the "right" of our kids to see people tortured and cut into pieces by chainsaws. They stand ready to scream “censorship” when a Christian declares we are not distant cousins of monkeys. They stand ready to accuse Christians of having a "phobia" about homosexuality, when a Christian boldly points out Scripture in which God's view of such acts is that they are an abomination.
Where are the keepers of the Faith? Why is the world filled with so many "Undercover Christians" who, like I did on my assignment, have removed any identifying features that might reveal them as a Christian, one of Jesus' Lost Lambs? We are to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. He did not sneak around, worrying someone would find out He was the Son of God. We are the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ and children of the King. Our Lord did not come to earth on a secret assignment, and we are not to hide our faith but boldly live it out. The Messiah needs bold, strong, mature men and women who will stand up for the Prince of Peace in this world. He already has more than enough “Undercover Christians.”
